A fine 19th century Arts & Crafts period polished brass coal scuttle in an Acorn seed-pod design by Christopher Dresser. The brass scuttle and frame are beautifully detailed with spiral twist and scrolling. The coal scuttle has its original lift-out metal liner in perfect order. Manufactured by Benham & Froud Ltd. Restored.
