Antique Fire Grate Stock
Gibilaro Design source, restore and present a unique collection of fine period antique fire grates, andirons, fire furniture and chimneypieces. Stock is painstakingly sourced from the UK, Europe and worldwide. This collection takes influence from such designers as Robert Adam and Sir John Soane , with pieces from the Carron Company, Longden, Lillieshall, and Thomas Elsley. The collection is continually updated to the website and there is further stock at our showrooms.
Comissions
Gibilaro Design Ltd have a well-established reputation for superbly-made register grates. The fire grates that are made to commission, are designed and manufactured in London with the emphasis on outstanding and unrivalled build-quality. Established in London nearly 30 years ago, the team is led by Product Design engineer, Jesse Gibilaro.
The business operates from a purpose-built studio and spacious showrooms tucked away in a cobbled courtyard off the Wandsworth Road, in Clapham. A further showroom was completed for a selection of chimneypieces and in the autumn of 2019, an extension with gantry was finished increasing our showroom space still further.
OUR SERVICES
Our antique grates and chimneypieces are sympathetically restored to the highest standards by our experienced engineers. Fire grates and andirons can accommodate solid fuel or specialist gas/effect fire conversion. For fireplace projects we work closely with leading interior designers, art dealers, architects and private clients on fireplace projects, both for the UK and abroad. We also offer storage of items where there is delay between purchase and installation on-site.

Please do contact us for shipping quotes for UK and worldwide door-to-door delivery, with insurance, packing/crating if required, with experienced specialist shippers or express carriers for smaller items. We are also happy to liaise with clients’ own carriers.
