An elegant, tall nineteenth century polished steel dog grate. Tapered legs set on arched plinths under pinnacle urn finials. Serpentine front with pierced fluted fret plate interrupted with paterae over beaded moulding. Rear elements consist of rivet-work grill, shaped scrolled feet and a beveled arched back plate. Restored.
