An elegant, tall 19th century English polished brass serpentine fire grate. Serpentine front with pierced fluted fret plate interrupted with engraved paterae over beaded moulding. The tapered legs under urn finials. Rear elements consist of rivet-work grill, shaped scrolled feet and a bevelled square fire back. Restored.
