Small 18th Century Carron Company Hob Grate

A small fine 18th century Carron Company hob grate with circular basket and three polished wrought fire bars. The cast-iron front has Prince of Wales feathers in a central panel flanked by circles housing crowns with sunburst design. Finely cast floral drops on the outer sides. Carron Company makers mark to left-hand side foot. Minor losses to rear hob tops but will not affect use. Restored.
