A Fine Regency Period Bronze & Wrought Sarcophagus Fireplace Grate

A fine Regency Period Bronze & Wrought Sarcophagus fireplace grate with a polished wrought bow-front with turned centre fire bar set over spheres and two obelisk log-stops sitting uppermost. The cast-iron structure adorned with intricate bronze paw-feet, fine Egyptian lion-heads and acanthus decoration. A truly exceptional Egyptian-Revival piece. This grate has a good-size burning area. Restored.
