Large Early 18th Century Wrought-Iron Manor House Grate

An immense early 18th century wrought-iron manor house grate with crank operated cheeks. The ratchet-operated cheeks can adjusted to match the burning width with the heat or cooking requirements. The sturdy front uprights measure 1¾" in width with dome shaped finials uppermost. Restored to working order.
