An early Georgian Fire Basket with greek-key fret flanked by wrought scrolled legs with boss and bulbous feet. The fire basket has a rivet-work grill with urn finials uppermost. This is a beautifully detailed grate fashioned by a master craftsman in the first half of the eighteen century. Restored.Circa 1740
