Commissioned Fire Surround & Grate in the Arts & Crafts Manner

This fire surround was manufactured by Gibilaro Design for West House. West House was designed by Philip Webb in 1868 and was his fifth studio house. The fireplace features: original William de Morgan tiles and a punch-engraved brass freize, with a reeded cast-iron enclosure. The grate is a one-off commission of an original Philip Webb pillar grate from the Gibilaro antique collection.
