An 18th century hand-wrought fireplace guard with central access doors. The wrought-iron uprights with twist, leaf and spear finials uppermost on arched supports. The fire panel is made up of lattice and flower doors surrounded by enclosed quatrefoils and scrolls. Spark mesh could be fitted for an additional cost. Restored. Width at base: 34″
