A Polished Wrought Regency Register Grate
A fine polished wrought Regency register grate. The semi-circular railed basket with ball finials set over a geometric latticework fret. The front surround comprises of polished convex sections, echoed in the hob fronts. Beaded moulding frames all the outer sections with beautiful segmented spheres encapulated with brass collar to recessed engraved corner blocks. A shaped cast-iron fire chamber. Restored. Circa 1820
