A late Georgian polished steel fire grate of serpentine form with a large semi-circular fire basket set on solid steel spheres flanked by oval paterae. The front is supported on turned tapering legs under urn finials. Rear elements include a curved rivet-work grill and bevelled fire back. This grate has a good size burning area for burning logs. Restored.
