A Late 18th / early 19th century Wrought-Iron & Cast Fire Grate
A late 18th / early 19th century wrought-iron & cast fire grate, in the manner of, and of the period of Thomas Hope (1769 – 1831). The semi-circular wrought basket with pinnacle finials supported by caryatids on stepped plinths, with much of their original heavy gold-leaf still present. Restored.
