A 19th century brass & iron fire basket by Thomas Elsley of London, with scrolled fret between shaped cabriole legs in the Queen Anne manner. Black iron shaped front bars with bulbous brass finials uppermost and an ornate back plate. Height of burning area: 9 1/2″. Restored.
