A 19th century English polished steel hook-leg fire grate with serpentine shaped front set over an intricately engraved pierced fret depicting winged-dragons and tulip vase finials uppermost. Front dog legs on mushroom supports. Possibly made by the Carron Company. One of a pair of grates (See S/N: UN2560). Restored.
