19th Century Brass & Cast-Iron Panther Fire Grate
A fine 19th century polished brass & cast-iron panther grate. The front basket with black fire bars is flanked by monopodic brass panthers with repousse foliage to breast. The ornate pedimented fire back depicting rising sun, sea and sky with roller wheels. Restored. Height of burning area: 8″.
