A fine18th century English serpentine fire grate. The serpentine basket front with shaped fire bars set on spheres with wings, over a pierced fluted fret between bead moulding with central plaque and oval paterae. The faceted legs with plinth feet and oval paterae sit under large urn finials. Historical repairs to fret. Wear consistent with age and use. Restored.
