A brass and steel fire basket (by Thomas Elsley of London), with scrolled fret between shaped cabriole legs in the Queen Anne manner. Cast-iron shaped front bars with ball finials uppermost and an ornate back plate. Fire basket lined with fire bricks. Restored. Circa 1890
