An English Adam-style polished brass and wrought fire grate (by Thomas Elsley). The pierced serpentine fret is set between square tapered legs with slim brass urns. Fine engraving on wings, legs, and centre. Wrought-iron fire bars and shaped fire back with winged mermaid detail. Resstored.
