Thomas Jeckyll Aesthetic Movement Register Front

A Thomas Jeckyll Aesthetic Movement register front with corner brackets. A black-iron register stove front grate designed by Thomas Jeckyll. The surround with Japanese inspired asymmetric floral and foliage designs against a background of reed and fretwork panels. These stove grates represent the very highest quality in fine casting. The asymmetric floral design is typical of Jeckyll and gives a hand-built character to this early mass production technique. Pattern No. to rear: 952 14F Restored.
