A 19th century brass & steel fire basket by Thomas Elsley of London, with scrolled fret between shaped cabriole legs in the Queen Anne manner. Polished steel shaped front bars with elegant ball finials uppermost and an ornate back plate. Height of burning area: 8 3/4″. Restored.
