A regency period sarcophagus grate in the Egyptian revival manner. This grate bears the crest and motif from the Earl of Albemarle's coat of arms. The motif 'Ne Cede Malis' translates to 'never yield to evil'. Other details include: cast-iron body, heavy polished wrought front basket, brass lion paw decoration and a curved polished fret.
