This large Arts & Crafts polished wrought and bronze fire grate has a beautifully hand-crafted front basket with pinned scrolled fire bars and a ribbed bronze fret. The fret is set between nest and ball standards. The cast-iron fire back features foliage, bead and central lion mask. This fire basket will house a good-size log fire. Restored. Circa 1880
