A Substantial English Brass Six Branch Chandelier (Sold)

An English brass six branch chandelier; the collared ring detail on the central sphere holds the branches; each s-scroll arm is individually marked and housed in mortised joint flanges extending from the central band. All central elements are secured on a wrought iron centre bar locked in place with a wedge-pin above the central brass cup. The design of the chandelier is intended for candles. Electrification can be arranged if required. A late nineteenth century reproduction of an earlier 18th century style.
