An English Adam-style polished brass & steel fire grate by Thomas Elsley. The pierced serpentine fret is set between square tapered legs with elegant brass urns uppermost. Fine engraving on wings, legs, and centre fret. Wrought-iron fire bars and patterned arched back plate with firebrick. Restored.
