American Empire brass & wrought-iron andirons fire dogs. The ribbed and faceted finials are supported over spurred layered legs on ball feet. The legs are an earlier design, late eighteenth century. The rear log-supports can be adjusted to fit the fire chamber if required. Possibly from Pennsylvania. Restored. Circa 1830
