A Regency Period sarcophagus fire grate by Skidmore & Son. A cast-iron tub-shaped fire grate with panther face and rings on each side, applied flamebeau motifs flank the polished wrought fire bars with lion’s paw feet on plinths. Two of these grates can be found at Attingham Park, Shropshire, National Trust estate. Restored. Circa 1810
