A polished wrought serpentine fire basket with shaped fire bars, beaded wings, and pierced fluted apron bordered with stud and bead detail. The grate is supported on square tapered and plinthed columns with rear elements consisting of, rivet-work grill, bevelled square fire back on scrolled wrought rear legs. Restored. Circa 1880.
