Fine Wrought & Glass Fire Screen

An intricately-crafted wrought-iron and crystal-glass fire screen. Fine scroll and foilage detail to frame with shield supported by two winged dragons uppermost. The high quality of ironwork suggests that this piece was made-to-commission or possibly for a competition by a master craftsmen. The crystal glass is heat-resistant.
